Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing an extrusion machine that applies a plastic coating to bare copper wire and other wires used in data and communication transfer. This role requires setting up the machine correctly for various products, using basic hand tools for adjustments, and monitoring the flow of raw materials. You will also perform periodic quality checks using measuring tools like tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure manufacturing specifications are met. Multitasking and following standard operating procedures is crucial, as is adherence to a master sheet for production scheduling and a process sheet for material handling. Attention to detail and accurate documentation of results on a computer are essential.

Breaks are coordinated as relief personnel facilitate coverage.
