Job Title: Sheet Metal Journeyman

Job Description

Perform duct installation on commercial job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Install ductwork in commercial buildings.

  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in HVAC and sheet metal work.

  • Proficiency with duct installation on commercial job sites.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • SM1 certification

  • SM2 certification

  • SM3 certification

Work Environment

Work on commercial job sites with a team of skilled professionals. Use state-of-the-art tools and equipment to perform duct installations. Standard work hours with potential for overtime, depending on project needs. Dress code includes appropriate safety gear and attire as required by the job site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00
