JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for clinical oversight of a Multisystemic Therapy- Emerging Adults (MST-EA) team including supervision of staff; adherence to agency, CSSD, state and federal guidelines; adherence to model fidelity; and assurance of excellent quality of care standards throughout all aspects of service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participates in MST-EA training and demonstrates a clear understanding of the model.
2. Provides clinical supervision to MST-EA team (3-4 Therapists, Coach) who provide direct services to emerging adults and their families.
3. Reviews weekly paperwork for all active cases and provide model adherent feedback to therapists.
4. Facilitates weekly group supervision and consultation for each team.
5. Provides individual clinical supervision.
6. Monitors fidelity to the MST-EA model and ensures completion of all model requirements (i.e. weekly paperwork; audio tape review; session frequency, etc.).
7. Prioritizes therapists participation in quarterly MST-EA booster trainings and participate in supervisor boosters.
8. Maintains regular communication with MST-EA consultant regarding therapist development, case progress, etc.
9. Reviews all clinical documentation of therapists to ensure it meets agency, model and funder requirements (e.g. assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, MST-EA opening paperwork, etc.).
10. Completes clinical documentation and reports in an accurate and timely fashion; maintain all documentation and reports required by agency policies and funding sources.
11. Develops and maintain collaborative relationships with referring Probation Officers as well as community agencies in order to provide comprehensive and effective treatment for clients and families.
12. Ensures regular communication and timely updates on case progress to referring agents.
13. Provides 24/7 on-call support to therapists and on-call coverage to clients/families when needed.
14. Provides field support to therapists on an as needed basis.
15. Develops and monitors therapist development plans in collaboration with MST consultant.
16. Partners with supervisor and consultant to create a supervisor development plan for professional growth.
17. Partners with supervisor and consultant to create a Supervisor Development Plan for professional growth.
18. Reviews outcome data and contributes to the development of Program Implementation Reviews (PIRs) every six months.
19. Understands and implements agency policies and procedures.
20. Contributes to program functioning by assuming responsibility for special tasks or leadership in special projects as appropriate.
21. Contributes to agency organizational life by participating in agency-wide task forces, committee , or problem-solving teams as appropriate.
22. Contributes to agency visibility and development of community linkages by representing the Village in community groups or committees, or assuming responsibility for community presentations, as assigned by supervisor.
23. All other duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Skills

EDUCATION

• Masters Degree from an accredited program; Independent clinical license in the state of Connecticut (i.e. LCSW, LMFT, LPC)

EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of three years of post-degree experience working with justice involved clients and their families in a community-based setting.
• Experience in providing culturally competent individual, group, marital or family counseling required.
• Prior experience with the MST model strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience desirable.
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, engage in statewide travel and provide 24/7 on-call coverage.
• Physical abilities required to accomplish the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations; ability to function safely in therapeutic situations, including provision of services in clients homes or host settings.
