Overview

Salary Pay Range: $65,000-70,000/annually

The role involves providing direction, motivation, and guidance to the Environmental Services Department to achieve established standards and ensure customer satisfaction. The position reports directly to an operations manager and represents the company at a high level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting a customer service mindset to both internal and external customers.

  • Leading the shift in the absence of the operations manager.

  • Implementing established department procedures and programs for a clean and safe environment.

  • Conducting quality improvement inspections.

  • Developing and coaching the management team.

  • Ordering supplies/equipment and overseeing inventory.

  • Responding to emergencies as required, including nights and weekends.

  • Handling varying workloads and meeting deadlines.

  • Communicating effectively and resolving problems.

  • Maintaining cooperative working relationships and treating others with respect.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining a professional appearance.

  • Participating in scheduled department meetings.

  • Completing annual competencies and remaining compliant with education and health requirements.

Position Requirements:

  • Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or High School Diploma/GED with relevant management experience.

  • Job Knowledge/Experience: Minimum of two years of leadership experience in the healthcare field.

  • Language/Writing/Communication Requirements: Proficiency in using a personal computer with a Windows environment and business software.

Overall, the position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, ability to handle emergencies, and effective communication.
