Aerotek Cnc Maintenance Technician in New Hartford, Connecticut

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This candidate will be responsible for PMs and RMs of machinery on the floor, including 60-70 CNC machines, 20-40 drill presses, grinding machines, and more. The vast majority of machines are epoxy machines. Must have CNC maintenance experience, primarily dealing with mills and lathes. Tools will be provided, and no personal tools are allowed onsite. The candidate will work with standard tools such as drills, impacts, sockets, meters, etc. This role is NOT on call but may require weekend help for standard clean-up and general housekeeping of the maintenance department. Responsibilities include quickly fixing breakdowns to get machines back online and productive, reviewing notes from 2nd shift, and starting on assigned jobs. Tasks include fixing belts, greasing machines, troubleshooting and repairing ladder control, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and other basic electrical mechanical components. The individual must track and maintain logs of their work, inform if parts need ordering or restocking, and perform general housekeeping during downtime. Once permanent, occasional local road trips to receive or deliver parts may be required.
