P.J. DICK INCORPORATED Diesel Truck Mechanic in New Galilee, Pennsylvania
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Diagnose and repair commercial diesel trucks.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair on-road commercial trucks.
- Prepare and complete service documentation.
- Provide support to other mechanics and heavy equipment personnel.
- Work in a safe manner and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Educational and experience requirements include: At least 3 years experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy construction equipment mechanic (or a diploma from a trade school as a diesel mechanic). A current CDL license. The ability to be a self-starter and work independently on a regular basis. Be willing to work overtime and varying shifts as well as being able to travel among various locations in western PA, eastern OH and northern WV. Must be computer-literate with a knowledge of Word and, preferably, Lotus Notes and Excel software. Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in any kind of active construction zone.
