Press Brake Operator/Programmer

Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled Press Brake Operator to work with precision in sheet metal fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high quality parts and materials by programming and operating press brakes, ensuring operations meet the specified requirements taken from blueprints and engineering drawings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong mechanical aptitude along with a strong attention to detail. Join our team and contribute to bending the highest quality parts in the industry.

Shift: 1st - 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $27-30/hr

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read precision sheet metal drawings

  • Knowledge of press brake operation and tooling selection

  • Understanding of bend deductions, material and machine limitations

  • Programming and setting up Amada press brakes

  • PM press brake equipment and tooling

  • Proficiency in using measuring equipment (protractors, squares, calipers, height gauges)

Soft Skills

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Great mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to identify problems and collaborate with supervisors

Job Type

This is a permanent position from Day 1, no probationary or contract period.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New Freedom, Pennsylvania.
