DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Game Land Maintenance Worker 1 you will perform semi-skilled work and assist with other duties. For example, in this position you will assist with maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. You will also assist with mowing, habitat management, and other duties as needed. This may include assisting with surveying of new game land tracts or encroachments on existing owned properties, maintaining hunter access and other trails, and the proper handling and use of herbicides, pesticides, and related equipment. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or One year of construction equipment operation experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements: You must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. You must obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment in this job.
