Description We are offering a position for an Accounts Receivable Clerk located in New Castle, Delaware. The role involves a range of tasks related to managing the credit and payments of our customers. The successful candidate will work in our on-site office and will be a critical part of our accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate posting of customer payments

• Research and reconciliation of account discrepancies

• Scanning payments into the bank and keeping accurate records of all communication related to accounts

• Work closely with other departments such as retailers, sales, warehouse drivers, and the National Call Center to collect outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain an account portfolio with accurate notes and terms for customers

• Handle large volumes of customer/driver calls effectively and accurately

• Ensure that customer service is held to the highest standard and customer accounts are reconciled and kept up-to-date with attention to detail and accuracy

• Escalate situations to the Accounts Receivable Manager as needed

• Work independently without supervision and with others as a team

• Use Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook proficiently for necessary tasks

• Problem-solving under pressure with tight deadlines. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in customer service and communication

• Familiarity with office functions and procedures

• Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies

• Understanding of accounts receivable processes

• Experience with payment processing and cash activity management

• Ability to review financial documents and identify discrepancies

• Knowledge of collection processes and credit management

• Experience with financial notes, research analysis, and customer account management

• Proficiency in video and scanning technologies

• Knowledge of compliance regulations in accounting

• Supervisory experience is desirable

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software is a plus

• Experience in check processing and methods related to accounts receivable

• Ability to perform research analysis for account discrepancies.
