The Product owner will partner closely with the Chief Product Owner to drive the strategy and product roadmaps for the Global Services t Management Systems Platforms. This individual will work in close partnership with business stakeholders to ensure solutions delivered by the IT development teams solve the business and/or market needs being requested. This role is critical in creating visibility into product status and will serve as the point of contact for our development and business stakeholders. Position will execute the day-to-day activities of business discovery, defining and grooming user stories, backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning and delivering solutions that enable business value. This role will be involved in the advancement of Chabot and intelligent automation opportunities across the GenesysDX (previously Bold360) and Salesforce.com platforms to provide seamless and valued experiences for this contact channel.
Continued delivery of the defined product strategies and roadmaps
Perform Discovery of Business needs, document functional requirements
Oversee the entry of Business needs into the Demand Management Intake platform
Create and manage user stories which includes but is not limited to:
Elicitation of requirements and User story grooming with functionally specific project teams
Update user stories until they are in Definition of Ready (DoR)
Define user acceptance criteria in review with functional project teams
JIRA Product Backlog Administration
Provide consultation on requirements to business owner
Oversee the prioritization of requests in the backlog; coordinating with BA’s, Development teams and the Chief Product Owner
Review and approve documentation of work product, user stories, backlog
Communication to all project stakeholders with updates & status of pending & in-progress requests
Assist the BSE Test Lead in the development of a test plan and confirming resource requirements
Create and track appropriate metrics and KPIs for products in remit
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience
Experience with Salesforce and / or GenesysDX (previously Bold360)
Experience with Agile product development and Product Ownership
Understanding of the Scrum process
Experience working with JIRA for creation, management, and reporting of user stories
Superior communication and collaborative skills
Superior Account and Stakeholder Management skills
Advanced degree or IT major
Appropriate Systems Certifications
Strong business systems analysis and reporting skills are
Up to 10% of travel is required.
