Description
Robert Half is seeking a District Property Manager for our client. The District Property Manager oversees the operations and management of a portfolio of properties within a designated district or region. This role involves supervising property managers, ensuring efficient property maintenance, maximizing occupancy rates, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the value of the properties.
Responsibilities:
Supervise property managers and leasing staff to ensure effective day-to-day operations of multiple properties. Oversee leasing activities, tenant relations, and rent collection processes.
Develop and manage property budgets, including operating expenses, capital expenditures, and revenue projections. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimize property profitability.
Foster positive relationships with tenants by addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Implement tenant retention strategies to minimize turnover and vacancy rates.
Develop and implement leasing and marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants. Analyze market trends, conduct competitive research, and adjust leasing strategies as needed to maximize occupancy rates.
Ensure that properties are well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations and safety standards. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, negotiate service contracts, and oversee capital improvement projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate management, or related field.
Several years of experience in property management, with progressive responsibility and experience managing multiple properties.
Strong knowledge of property management principles, leasing practices, and real estate laws and regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
