Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Director of Communications for University Finance and Administration (UFA). Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Financial Initiatives and Chief of Staff, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned communications professional with excellent leadership skills to shape the voice of a critical universitywide division. Working collaboratively with units and teams within the division, as well as with institutional and external partners, the director will develop and implement a strategic communications plan for UFA that unifies and modernizes the division's approach to internal and external communications, while championing best practices and ensuring compliance with university guidance and policies. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
The ideal candidate will have experience managing proactive and effective communications and marketing strategies, the ability to engage and communicate with diverse audiences both internal and external to the organization, and strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide a team towards success. |
