DIRECTOR – MEDICAL CLINIC - THE HOSPITAL OF CENTRAL CONNECTICUT The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HoCC), a 446-bed community teaching hospital and the main campus for the UCONN Health Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency program, has an outstanding opportunity for Internal Medicine physician to supervise direct clinical care in the Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic. We seek an innovative thinker with a demonstrated interest in academic medicine and resident teaching. Reporting to the Chair of Department of Medicine and the Program Director of the UConn Health Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program, the Medical Director will provide oversight, administration, and management of physician, medical residents, medical students, and provider staff in the Outpatient Clinic. Position will be core faculty in the PCIM residency program and be involved in curriculum development. Position includes academic appointment at The University of CT School of Medicine. In addition, s/he will possess qualifications for academic appointment at the University of Connecticut (assistant professor level or higher), and an interest in faculty development, medical education, and research.
