Title: Electrician Supervisor (Foreman)

Position Overview: As an Electrician Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate electrical projects, ensuring that they are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications. You will lead a team of electricians and apprentices, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and supervising work activities. Candidate is responsible for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management: - Plan and schedule electrical projects, including manpower, materials, and equipment requirements. - Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. - Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.

2. Team Leadership:

• Supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors, assigning tasks and overseeing their work.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives and maintain high productivity levels.

3. Quality Control:

• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure that electrical installations meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Address any issues or deficiencies promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections conducted, and materials used.

4. Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
• Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses, implementing preventive measures to mitigate risks.

5. Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to coordinate work activities and resolve interferences or conflicts.
• Provide regular progress updates to project managers and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues proactively.

Qualifications and Skills: - Journeyman Electrician license - Several years of experience in the electrical trade, with demonstrated leadership abilities. - Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. - Excellent organizational and project management skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. - Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. - Commitment to safety and quality excellence.
