Rush Enterprises Risk Analyst - Workers Comp Claims in New Braunfels, Texas

The Risk and Insurance Analyst – Workers’ Compensation Claims is responsible for managing WC claims with oversight of the Third Party Claims Administrator (TPA), coordination of the return-to-work program, handling lost time claims, authorizing settlements, and maintaining accurate records. The Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for the day-to-day operations of the Workers’ Compensation program and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end workers compensation claim process, including reporting, medical coordination, lost time and return-to-work program, and litigation management.

  • Oversight of all activities of the Company’s Workers’ Compensation Third Party Claims Administrator (TPA).

  • Support the Company’s Safety Program with development and implementation of proactive measures to reduce risk of work-related injuries.

  • Ensure confidentiality is practiced at all times.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with property and casualty insurance claims management and insurance program administration is preferred

    Other Skills and Abilities Required

  • An Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) certification is preferred
