This role will be located in New Berlin, WI, In this role, you will plan and execute procurement activities for enclosed Powertrain Packaging projects to support project objective achievement in terms of cost/budget, schedule, and supply quality. You will maintain a primary interface with the Project Manager, project team, category teams, and, as required, the customer on all Procurement & Logistics (PL) matters.This is a position with global grade 13This position reports to Supply Chain Manager - System DrivesYour responsibilities Collaborate with proposal, project, and category teams to determine necessary items for procurement during the project. Develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for project procurement. Align project supply chain activities with the SCM(Supply Chain Management) organization\'s sourcing strategies and approved vendor list, escalate exceptions to ensure best cost, quality, sustainability, and delivery performance Manage relationships with suppliers in partnership with regional and global category management teams Coordinate and monitor open purchase orders; reschedule orders when needed Monitor the project procurement status and keep key stakeholders informed Proactively work to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality, and delivery Document general and special conditions for use on all project purchase documents, procurement procedures and plans, and ensure compliance Optimize ABB inventories Ensure on time payments to suppliersYour background Bachelor degree and 8...
