Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description
Perform chemistry-based testing on a daily basis including wet chemistry, food chemistry, environmental testing, and nitrogen analysis. Assist other chemists and technicians with additional test methods as needed. Document daily lab data and fill out documents appropriately. Clean and prepare lab equipment and stations on a daily basis.
Hard Skills
Chemistry degree or experience in chemistry-based testing
Associate degree or background in Biology or Chemistry minors
Lab work experience (academic or professional)
Soft Skills
Ability to learn and work hard
Adaptability to a fast-paced and hectic environment
Composure under high sample volume conditions
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in NA, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
This is a contract laboratory position primarily based in the office with occasional duties in lab areas. The first shift has a flexible start time (6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., or 8:00 a.m.) and typically involves 40 to 45 hours per week, with potential for overtime. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with a possibility of Monday through Friday if Sunday work isn't required. Candidates must be able to work Sundays if needed. The environment is fast-paced and can get hectic, requiring the ability to maintain composure. The candidate will work with other lab personnel and interact with sample couriers, technicians, supervisors, managers, and clients via email and phone.
