ManpowerGroup Technical Writer in New Albany, Ohio

As a Technical Writer, you will be part of a team supporting process and standard documentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical writing skills, business process mapping experience, Visio proficiency, and the ability to work well with subject matter experts and build relationships.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: New Albany, OH (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Pay Range: Up to $45.00/hour

What's the Job?

  • Analyze processes while working with SMEs to build out and develop business process flows in Visio.

  • Assist in the editing of documents for spelling, grammar, content accuracy, readability, and consistency.

  • Prepare and update documentation plans, outlines, and written text. Coordinate layout and organization of manuals and other documents.

  • Organize moderate to complex technical topics from various sources into one cohesive document.

  • Research, develop, review, and coordinate new procedures and changes to existing procedures. Establish procedure revision guidelines, procedure standards, and procedure writing guidelines.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, or a four-year technology degree with an emphasis in technical communication.

  • 4-5 years of related experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to overcome concerns within a timely manner.

  • Self-motivated and able to manage own tasks and build relationships to work well with team as well as SMEs.
