PharmaForce, Inc. Manufacturing Sr. Project Manager in New Albany, Ohio
Nature and Scope The Manufacturing Sr. Project Manager will support all Ohio manufacturing sites and functions by coordinating and tracking internal initiatives through the required processes to maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Responsibilities include supporting new equipment purchases, process improvements and major capital expansion efforts through the development of schedules, tracking of required activities, and communication of prioritization of resources. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and manufacturing team to define events and timelines for each project's lifecycle. Track change controls, work orders, validation activities, drawing and documentation updates as required. Ensure team alignment of priorities with Engineering, Maintenance, Validation, Quality Assurance, Operations, Technical Services, Training, Document Control, Finance and Regulatory. Monitor progress and communicate any changes in project scope, timeline, and cost to all appropriate individuals. Ensure timely execution of critical tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Follow-up with project teams to continuously update the plan and prioritize activities as needed for the successful implementation and execution of the projects within the portfolio. Lead regularly scheduled cross-functional meetings to ensure functional deliverables are understood and timelines are on track. Coordinate efficient turnover between departments for timeline optimization. Ensure that performance metrics are defined, tracked, and reported back to leadership. Responsible for the preparation of monthly status reports. Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management. Education Requirements and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in science, business or related field required. 5 years pharmaceutical experience or other regulated environment required. 5+ years project management experience required; 8 years preferred. Superior organizational, influential and communication skills required. Must be able to manage multiple projects with high priority. Strong Microsoft Project and Excel skills required. Certification in Project Management is highly preferred. Must be able to read documents in Standard English such as Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance schedules and operating manuals. Physical Environment and Requirements Employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Daily onsite presence and the ability to travel to Ohio sites required. Travel up to 15%.
