The job opportunity is for a new position, established as part of the Consumer Healthcare Global Business Unit's (CHC GBU) autonomy roadmap. Situated within the Consolidation & Statutory Reporting Department and reporting to the CHC Head of Consolidation, Design & Innovation, we are in search of an experienced and business-focused professional to take on the role of Innovation & Release Project Lead.

In this capacity, you will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, ongoing enhancement, and effective deployment of financial systems and processes within the organization. Your duties will include managing support activities, supervising release management procedures, and spearheading project initiatives pertinent to SAP FC and WDesk.

Main responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for initiatives related to SAP FC and WDesk, from initiation to closure, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and post-implementation support.

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, and develop detailed project plans and schedules to track progress and manage resources effectively.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communication channels to ensure alignment across teams and timely resolution of issues and dependencies.

  • Be proactive in the direction to be taken in terms of technological evolutions, especially with regards to the announced end of maintenance of SAP FC and the subsequent need to implement a new solution minimizing the disruptive impact for the consolidation team.

2. Release Management:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of release management activities for SAP FC and WDesk, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess release requirements, prioritize enhancements and bug fixes, and define release schedules and deployment plans.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during system upgrades and deployments.

3. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, system enhancements, and automation to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and usability of SAP FC and WDesk.

  • Engage with business users to gather feedback, prioritize enhancement requests, and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on evolving business needs and industry best practices.

4. Change management

  • Communicate on projects to different users,

  • Monitor change management milestones,

  • Contribute to the strategic training plan of the various projects to ensure an optimized launch and run

  • Create/update all the required documentation to ensure clarity and understanding, efficiency, to facilitate training and onboarding but also to preserve knowledge.

About you

  • You are a dynamic professional with aBachelor’s degreein Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, and you bring5 to 10 years of experienceto the forefront of financial systems innovation.

  • Your career has been marked by your proficiency inSAP FC and WDesk, where you’ve not only supported and implemented these systems but have also managed them in complex enterprise settings.

  • Yourproject management skillsare robust, enabling you to lead diverse teams and navigate through competing priorities to deliver projects that meet all constraints.

  • You are well-versed inAgile and Scrum methodologies, and a certification in SAP FC or WDesk would be the cherry on top of your qualifications.

  • Yourcustomer satisfactionethos is matched by yourexcellent communication skillsand your ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. You areanalytically inclined, with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive stance on problem-solving.

  • Fluent inEnglish and French, you are ready to take on the challenges of system setup, first-level maintenance, and driving continuous improvement in a collaborative, business-oriented environment.
