You will be responsible for inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, and conducting tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Pay Based on Experience starting at \$21.25 (includes shift differential) - experience in quality would be higher Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday thru Thursday 4:20pm-2:50am (typically work between 40-50 hours /week) About MEC! We are a job shop that creates various tubes for a number of industries including: Commercial, Agricultural, Military, and Recreational Vehicles! Our parts go on everything from tractor combines, to hospital generators - all fabricated by our skilled team! Responsibilities Typical Day Duties: Inspection and Testing: Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. We use a CMM, Calipers, Height Gage, Micrometer and gages to check parts. Quality Control: Monitor and document production processes, identifying and addressing any issues that may affect product quality. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality audits. Generate reports on quality metrics and findings. Compliance: Ensure all products comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Problem Solving: Identify root causes of quality issues and work with production teams to implement corrective actions. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Familiarity with CMM and Quality testing procedures Familiarity with Microsoft Office - Email, word docs, spreadsheets, etc..
