Eurofins Junior Account Manager in Needham Market, United Kingdom

This is a great opportunity to join Eurofins Food Testing as a Junior Account Manager, full training on the role will be provided. 

The purpose of this position is to assist senior account manager in supporting GAFTA and FOSFA clients and to be the a key point of contact between our customers and our business and to build a relationship as a trusted partner with our customers.

This is a home based role, working 37.5 hours per week - 08:30 till 16:30. 

  • Reporting of results using ELIMS.

  • To advise and support customers with their needs. 

  • To ensure that the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and any other systems utilised by the company are maintained with up to date information.

  • To work closely with Key Account Manager in preparing quotations to ensure that the pricing achieves profit expectations and contractual obligations can be met.

  • Undertake specific Junior account management roles as required.

  • To ensure we pro-actively communicating with our customers to ensure we are providing an effective service in line with customer expectations.

  • To be familiar with customer specific requirements and standards advising on best tests to be done for their needs.

  • Work with the key account manager in setting targets, growth strategies and improved ways of working with customers To maintain contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with the company's services.

  • Keep up to date with current techniques, topics and legislation, learn from Key account manager to gain knowledge in the sector and provide support in growing the business unit

  • Learning how to communicate with customers face to face with the training and development.

  • To undertake such other duties as may be commensurate with the post.

     

  • Basic customer service knowledge

  • General understanding of relevant quality and technical standards (e.g. UKAS/ISO 17025).

  • Conscientious and keen to learn in the industry.

  • Good attitude to collaboration and good communication skills.

  • Keen interest in science and business. 

  • Good IT skills.

  • Some customer facing previous experience, can be retail or other sectors. 

  • GCSE Science or equivalent. 

  • Current and valid driving licence.
