Liberty Healthcare Corporation Quality Specialist – HCBS provider reviewer in NE, United States
Due to continued organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare is now hiring for several new Quality Specialist positions throughout Nebraska.
As a Quality Specialist, you will be an active contributor with a large-scale program which endeavors to enrich the lives of older adults and people who are living with developmental disabilities.
Your role will focus on reviewing providers of Medicaid HCBS waiver services, and your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Driving to provider locations throughout the greater region
Conducting reviews, onsite at provider locations
Evaluating provider’s services in relation to best practices in person-centered care
Identifying provider’s strengths and opportunities for quality improvement
Writing comprehensive summary reports within limited timeframes
This is a hybrid position which will require you to spend approximately 80% of each workweek traveling throughout the greater region and leading onsite meetings at provider locations – and approximately 20% of each workweek doing administrative work and report writing in your home office.

Annual compensation of $50,000 (paid $24.04 per hour)

You are match for this position if you possess the following:
At least three years of professional experience in service to older adults and/or people who are living with developmental disabilities
Knowledge of person-centered practices and Charting the LifeCourse
Knowledge of quality assurance principles
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work well with a high degree of autonomy
Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills
Ability to develop rapport with a wide array of personalities and maintain composure during challenging situations
Bachelor’s degree – ideally in Social Work, Special Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or another social / health / human services field
Please note – the requirement for a Bachelor’s degree may be waived if you have at least five years of professional experience in service to older adults and/or people who are living with developmental disabilities.
Since this position requires daily travel throughout the region, you must have a reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
You have relevant work experience and transferrable skills if you’ve worked as a Social Worker, Investigator, Service Coordinator, Case Manager, Case Worker, Program Specialist, Human Services Specialist, Care Navigator, Client Advocate, Detective, law enforcement professional, or Quality Specialist / Quality Improvement professional.
