Position Summary/Description:
This one year postdoctoral program will prepare the scholar for successful academic positions within the field of MCH . It enhances scholars’ proficiency in MCH research (including scientific publication), teaching (including curriculum development), conceptual knowledge, communication, and professionalism/leadership. Postdoctoral scholar will work with MCH faculty and an array of partners, including those from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, state/local Title V agencies, and others. The postdoctoral scholar will be expected to publish 2 or more scientific publications each year.
Education and Experience:
Candidates should have doctoral training in research methods, including quantitative data analysis. They should also have graduate training in substantive areas relevant to the health and well-being of women, children, and/or families.
