Naval Supply Systems Command LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania
Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Maritime Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS Responsibilities You will serve as a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Product Support (IPS) Program Manager for Program Support Inventory Control Point (PSICP) life cycle management for assigned countries, weapon systems, equipment, and platforms. You will participate in conferences to formulate provisioning plans, schedules, and supply support programs. You will develop and implement budget execution plans. You will participate in Logistics Review Group audits regarding supply support matters. You will develop material spares and repair requirements using mathematical availability models. You will perform the full range of inventory management functions, including maintenance of inventory levels, initiating procurement and repair recommendations, and determining stock locations of materials. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supporting logistics operations through all phases of acquisition, operational support, subsequent modifications, and phase out. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Managing logistics life-cycle support from inception to disposal for material including New Construction, Outfitting, and weapons systems; 2) Formulating, reviewing, and justifying wholesale and retail allowance budgets; 3) Assigning priorities and monitoring contractor performance; 4) Performing technical analysis on complex problems and working with other stakeholders to find solutions; 5) Providing guidance to internal and external customers on logistics issues; 6) Creating, tracking, monitoring, and updating the status of requisitions in logistics databases for Foreign Military Sales by using knowledge of logistics concepts, principles, regulations, practices, and policies.
