U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in Naval Air Station San Diego, California

Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the AVIATION SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC. Responsibilities You will manage a designated group of pack-up kit aviation assets as well as a group of designated pack-up kits to support aircraft and squadrons while in a deployed status. You will ensure allowance increases and decreases are loaded to the Stock Item Record in the Navy, Enterprise Resource Planning database and the Master Record File in the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System database. You will requisition material for new and increased allowances. You will arrange for disposition of excess stock and track and cancel outstanding dues. You will ensure the timely submission of requisitions into the Department of Defense supply system to satisfy high priority requirements as well as deficiencies existing in the pack-up kit. You will review requirements, initial and replenishment, and prepare and submit requisitions in accordance with Military Standard Requisition, Issue Procedures, Military Standard Transaction, and Accounting Procedures. You will take necessary action to stock required consumable assets in the kit. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying supply procedures and instructions to determine material requirements and ensure assets managed are available in support of operational readiness. GS-6: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing supply databases or systems to evaluate conflicting information and determine the transactions required to correct discrepancies.
