Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Naugatuck, Connecticut

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst based in NAUGATUCK, Connecticut. The successful candidate will be part of our dynamic team, providing technical support and assistance to our employees. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues, managing service desk tickets, and providing assistance with system deployments and configuration management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance to employees, assisting with hardware and software problems

• Manage service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with end-users

• Utilize Microsoft and Active Directory tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Handle system deployments and configuration management tasks, ensuring systems are correctly set up for employees

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and other relevant technologies

• Work closely with other team members to identify and resolve more complex issues

• Monitor system performance and take necessary action to maintain optimal performance

• Assist with the training of employees on new systems and software as needed

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT support processes and procedures

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure effective technical support. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role as a Desktop Support Analyst or related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Windows Server.

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory.

• Familiarity with computer hardware and configuration management.

• Experience in managing deployments and providing deskside support.

• Ability to handle service desk tickets efficiently and effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to staying updated on the latest technological advancements and best practices.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
