United Mississippi Bank Customer Service Representative/Teller in Natchez, Mississippi

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.

  • Open/Maintenance new accounts. Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.

  • Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge, forward to the

assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.

  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.

  • Review documentation for accuracy and communicate with various staff regarding maintenance on accounts.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Perform non-cash teller transactions.

     

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred 2 years experience in a banking/finance related capacity.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to communicate with and work in conjunction with all departments of the bank.

  • Experience in Customer Service.

     

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with Deposit documents.

  • Experience with New Account documents.

  • Experience with UMB's deposit software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and pay attention to detail. Work well with others in an open air department setting.

  • Positive team oriented attitude with flexibility to adjust to changes as they arise.

  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software

  • Service-oriented mindset
