Actalent Travel Physical Therapist in Nashville, Tennessee

Actalent is currently recruiting a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13 week contract with possible extension.

Location: Cumberland County, TN

Make $2,500 to $3000 per week.

Stipend/per diem option.

Full medical, dental, vision, life, and coverage provided

401k Retirement Savings Program

M-F 8-5

No nights or weekends

Hospital/Clinic Setting

Job Description:

• Insures appropriate equipment is obtained and safe for patient use.

• Prepares written or oral instructions to patients/caregivers for implementing therapeutic home exercise programs.

• Provides ongoing patient and caregiver education to include problem-solving skills in “real life” situations.

• Completes accurate and timely reports

• Responsible for meeting daily productivity standards.

• Assists and collaborates with the medical director, physician or consultants, and other staff members of the rehabilitation team

• Participates in patient care conferences and staff meetings.

• Adheres to Medicare rules and regulations when applicable.

• Participates in specialized training for program development when requested by Director.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. State Licensure required in TN or MS

Previous experience in the outpatient setting preferred

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
