Position Overview

Provides leadership, direction and day-to-day management for all aspects related to the treasury area: cash management and reporting; banking and lending relationships; risk mitigation; cash forecasting, managing borrowings and investments; and loan covenant compliance.

Also assists with organizational risk management and strategic treasury functions including working across teams to secure organizational alignment and buy-in.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages all treasury operations to include cash forecasting, disbursements and debt obligations

  • Subject matter expert on company credit agreements – understanding loan operations and covenant and performing compliance calculations

  • Coordinates across accounting and other finance areas to identify financial opportunities, create cross-functional alignment, and drive organizational change

  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the treasury function, leveraging best practices to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support company growth objectives

  • Supports strategic finance initiatives, including financing and refinancing activities

  • Manges relationships with cash management financial institutions and ratings agencies. A bility to leverage these relationships for executing new debt agreements, hedging and cash management transactions

  • Develops, maintains, and implements treasury operations strategic plan and policies including ongoing evaluation of such activities.

  • Reviews and drives improvements in cash management to ensure financial obligations are met in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

  • Identifies opportunities to mitigate interest rate and commodity risk

  • Prepares and presents various management presentations

  • Develops and implements strategies to enhance cash flow efficiency

  • Leads special projects and ad hoc analysis, as required

  • Oversees and manages the company’s cash and liquidity position, including execution of short-term borrowings or investments to meet daily funding requirements

  • Manages the company’s merchant card processing activities, including relationships with the major issuers (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).

  • Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities

  • Partners closely with Risk Management function and organizational stakeholders to ensure financial interests are adequately protected through complementary relationship between internal policies and procedures and externally insured risks and obligations

  • Manages treasury staff, including training; planning and delegation; and managing performance

    Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics or Math required• 8-10 years of experience in banking and/or treasury operations required• Previous supervisory management experience preferred• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data, financial instruments and debt financing

  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial statements and financial statement analysis, including an ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on financial statements

  • Analytical skills to accurately model the financial aspects and outcomes of business issues using spreadsheets and/or other applicable tools

  • Ability to understand financial and related operational data, synthesize results, then develop and prioritize actionable insights and recommendations

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical, technical, and strategic thinker with solid business judgement, data-driven and analytical in problem solving while also understanding and considering the big picture.

Pay Ranges$114,013.00 - $190,020.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
