Position Summary:

The Site Operations Manager oversee s daily operations at a designated location or facility, ensuring efficiency and compliance by managing staff, maintaining equipment, monitoring budgets, and enforcing safety standards . This role collaborates across departments to achieve operational goals and uphold company policies.

This is a full time On-site position at a Warehouse location , reporting to the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics.

What you will do :

  • Responsible for the day - to - day and tactical activities needed to manage the inventory within the facility needed to perform site functions and reporting shortages and requirements to supply chain stakeholders.

  • Direct manager for the warehouse staff (shipping/receiving, triage, reverse logistics ).

  • Manages, facilitates , and implements inventory process development and process improvement initiatives throughout the facility working with the Director of Supply Chain.

  • Develops key process indicators (KPI’s) measurements and monitoring for inventory processes to ensure performance to standards.

  • Leads inventory process standardization and documentation activities.

  • Implements and manages inventory receipt schedules with factories, contract manufacturers, and distribution centers within the limits of their production capacities , lead times, and EOQ’s.

  • Works with Clear Captions Materials Buyer to ensure smooth integration of inventory receipts for accessories, mobile devices, and non-standard parts, to support core product orders.

    ​ ​ Qualifications: ​

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years) in business or related discipline.

  • 2-3 years of Inventory Management , warehouse management or related field w ith a b r oad knowledge of supply chain and order fulfillment processes and procedures.

  • Experience in refurbished and return centers preferred.

  • Experience leading Continuous Process Improvement and Focused Improvement initiatives.

  • Strong analytical aptitude with proven ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize data and use it to make recommendations to functional areas and management.

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations.

  • Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals.

  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies.

  • Strong analytical, planning and budgeting skills . Ability to influence others.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes .

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a fast-paced operations environment to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel to vendor sites, (up to 10 %); will include some overnight travel. Proficient in MS Office (emphasis on Excel), modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)

    Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: 

  • Sitting, standing, and walking (98%) 

  • Keyboarding (100%) 

  • Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (100%) 

  • More than occasionally bend, crouch, reach, twist and grasp; May lift or move boxes (up to 50 pounds with assistance ) and/or use a forklift; PPE is required including wearing toe-covered shoes.

    ​ ​ Work Environment: ​

    Warehouse: Work environment is the company warehouse. Primarily indoors with some variance in indoor temperature and some exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions.

    Compensation :
