Insight Global Senior Interface Analyst in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Description

The Senior Interface Analyst reports to the Manager, 3M HIM Technologies Implementations Team. Acts as subject matter expert for bidirectional interfaces, including HL7 and MAGIC, between various EHRs (MEDITECH 5.6.7, MEDITECH EXPANSE, EPIC, CERNER) and 3M coding applications (Coding & Reimbursement (CRS), 360 Encompass System, ProFee). Interfaces include, but are not limited to ADT, MDM, ORU, BAR, DFT, and CODEALLTAGS. Understands the application workflows responsible for triggering each of these message types and the clinical use of the modules associated with them. Supports the integration of multiple EHR instances with 3Ms 360 Encompass Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) application, according to defined interface specifications. The position provides IT expertise and knowledge to our senior leadership and business partners.

·  Provides subject matter expertise and works with Product Analysts and Engineers to plan, coordinate, and support the integration of MEDITECH 5.6.7, MEDITECH EXPANSE, EPIC and CERNER facilities with the enterprise instances of 360 Encompass CAC and CRS.

·  Compiles inventory of HL7 message types sent from MEDITECH 5.6.7, MEDITECH EXPANSE, EPIC and CERNER and dictionary entries, according to the 3M 360 Encompass Interface Scoping Workbook.

·  Performs gap analyses to identify and recommend interface transformations and create mapping to enterprise-standard dictionaries.

·  Participates in validation and testing activities to evaluate results of integration, then report and make recommendations based on findings.

·  Oversees and maintains the Document Scoping Workbook, a workbook outlining the mapping, normalization and configuration specifications of documents over the entire enterprise.

·  Works with business partners, 3M vendor and Cloverleaf teams to lead and coordinate efforts in maintaining and updating both Interface Scoping Workbook and Document Scoping Workbook.

·  Troubleshoots and resolves issues interfaces to or from 360 Encompass and CRS.

Skills and Requirements

Experience supporting and troubleshooting HL7 interfaces (including ADT, BAR, DFT, MDM, ORU) required

Review data connectivity, assist in developing interphase mapping requirements, gap analysis of interphase specification and troubleshooting data flows and message processing General workflow knowledge- Computer assisted coding software b/w MediTech, Cerner, epic

Experience supporting and troubleshooting MEDITECH 5.6.7, MEDITECH EXPANSE, EPIC and/or CERNER interfaces preferred null
