Senior Director Brand & Product Marketing

Position Overview

TruGreen is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Brand & Product to lead our brand and product strategy. This role will be instrumental in driving growth, enhancing brand equity, and ensuring alignment of marketing initiatives with business objectives. The Senior Director will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of brand and product marketing strategies, innovation, brand campaign development and managing field marketing operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in brand management, product development, and multi-channel marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with TruGreen’s vision, mission, and business goals.

  • Oversee the development and execution of brand campaigns, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, leveraging insights to optimize brand positioning and messaging.

  • Lead the creation and execution of impactful advertising campaigns that drive brand awareness and consideration.

  • Conceptualize and deliver big ideas that resonate with target audiences, leveraging insights and data to inform creative development and execution.

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle management, including ideation, development, launch, and post-launch evaluation.

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product innovation and differentiation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

  • Partner with Operations leaders and Finance partners to determine product pricing strategy by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, and anticipating volume.

  • Oversee and manage field marketing operations, ensuring alignment with national brand strategy and local market needs.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure high-quality deliverables and brand consistency.

  • Facilitate field marketing efforts through collaboration with field leaders on budget, messaging, sponsorships, and collateral.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or related roles, preferably in the service or consumer goods industry.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and product strategies that drive business growth.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, customer insights, and market research.

  • Experience managing field marketing operations and aligning local marketing efforts with national strategies.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% (US).

Pay Ranges

$164,175.00 - $273,631.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
