As a Manager in Business Architecture, you will be at the forefront of shaping and driving technological advancements within the organization. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of translating complex client requirements into actionable business strategies, enhancing our functional capabilities. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead engagements, manage risks, and foster innovation, all while maintaining a commitment to quality.
Your key responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be charged with leading workstream deliveries, tracking project progress, and engaging closely with clients to identify additional service opportunities. You will play a critical role in responding to RFPs and influencing policy recommendations that have a broader business impact. Your days will be filled with challenges that require sharp analytical skills and the ability to craft solutions to complex issues.

Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
Gather requirements during and lead design workshops during explore, configuration, unit testing, and writing functional specifications for design gaps during build, and assist the client in all testing cycles. Support our client with training before go-live and provide post go-live support
Stay up to date on new Asset Management (Plant Maintenance) functionality being released annually by SAP
Work in a team environment and collaborate across workstreams (procurement, project systems, finance, quality management, production, materials management, warehouse management, supply chain, and IBP) to design, test, and deploy SAP
Oversee management and quality of project deliveries
Engage in active client interaction and working sessions
Lead by example, providing feedback and formal assessments to subordinates
To qualify for the role, you must have
A Bachelor's degree is required with at least 8 years of relevant experience
At least 5 years of experience working with SAP Asset Management/Plant Maintenance (PM)/Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
Strong understanding of Asset Management principles and practices
Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members
Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior consulting experience relevant to industry specific finance and technology functions
Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%
Ideally, you’ll also have
Multiple end-to-end life cycle implementations of SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC
Experience with Fiori
SAP Certification/s
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, utilities, mining and metal, or oil and gas (energy)
Experience with one of the following additional licensed products:
3rd party planning and scheduling tools
3rd party MRO master data governance tools
SAP service and asset management (mobility)
SAP field service management
SAP resource scheduling for maintenance planners (RSH)
SAP business network asset collaboration
SAP asset performance management
SAP spatial asset management
SAP work clearance management (lock out tag out)
SAP geographical enablement framework
SAP environmental health & safety

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $137,700 to $252,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $165,200 to $286,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
