Adecco Search has partnered with an industry-leading manufacturer to recruit and hire a full-time Project Engineer - Gas Product Engineer in Nashville, TN.
The Project Design Engineer (Gas Products) will provide technical support and direction to the design team and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Gas Combustion.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Management, directing R&D and product development/design efforts for gas appliances and combustion systems
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert and technical leader for gas combustion
Ensuring Design Compliance and reviewing product designs to confirm adherence to regulatory requirements, safety, and efficiency standards.
Authorizing modifications to product designs and approving the release of technical drawings.
Collaborating with internal and external resources to identify, coordinate, and plan new product development projects.
Designing, testing, and optimizing product components.
Improving and innovating existing gas combustion technologies.
Providing guidance and support to design and product development teams.
Establishing and implementing engineering standards and procedures, and assisting with engineering issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in combustion engineering or similar.
Project Engineering/Management experience
Experience with Gas Appliances, HVACs/Furnaces or similar products.
Proficiency with CAD software and simulation/analysis tools, Solidworks, MATLAB, LabView, Minitab, EES, CFD, and FEA.
Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
