Job Summary and Qualifications

The Product Analyst II works with senior level team members to develop detailed knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation practices, as well as software development methodologies. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs of applications/products supported by the ITG Patient Accounting team. Leverages analysis to recommend system and business process modifications to support business strategies through purchased or in-house developed software. Writes detailed description of business goals, user needs, computer program functions, and steps required to configure, develop or modify computer programs. Communicates requirements to technical resources and assures that the designed solution will meet business and user needs. Works with business users to resolve conflicting requirements. This position will work with management to develop timelines and manage project risks, assist in the development of quality assurance test plans, and help develop end user documentation.

This position will support Parallon Business Solutions operations, to gather and document use cases and feature requirements. Must work with project team of developers/QA analysts on features, enhancements, and fixes as required. Will typically serve as 2rd tier escalation point (at times, 1st) for issues related to system functionality. This position requires strong analytic skills, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for learning and solving problems

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Other Required Qualifications

Ability to communicate verbally to all levels of staff and using a variety of media

Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills

Organization and time management skills

Experience working with Excel, Word templates, Visio flow charts, and other Office tools in order to create and communicate system requirements.

Ability to build and maintain strong and diverse network of relationships with various stakeholder groups. Identifies impact to other solutions or projects, and works with other Product Analysts and stakeholders to identify options and recommendations

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred

EXPERIENCE

3 or more years in Product Development experience – Preferred

Equivalent combination of education and / or experience could be considered
