BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an Overnight Veterinary Receptionist!
Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system .

We are searching for a dedicated Overnight Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Nashville. If your passion is working with people and pets, this is the opportunity for you! At BluePearl, our Veterinary Receptionists are imperative to the success of our hospital. In this position, you are the first BluePearl Associate that the client sees and ensures that each client receives the care and attention that they need. We need smiling faces, positive attitudes, efficient and compassionate people to round out our customer service team and work alongside our medical staff. As an Overnight Veterinary Receptionist, you will:
Greet and make friendly eye contact every time our hospital entry door opens to offer the individual warm and professional acknowledgement.
Always offer a friendly smileand an approachable demeanor.
Are compassionate listeners.
Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone in a way that clients easily understand.
Are skilled at assessing each client’s rare need immediately upon arrival, as well as the pet’s general condition.
Determine whether an emergency arrival is a “stat” versus “standard” emergency.
Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
Process accurate and thorough admission and check out procedures, including collection of associated fees.
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure clients’ wait times in the lobby and exam rooms are minimized.
Act as a liaison to clients, frequently keeping them informed of delays. Connects clients with other associates to facilitate answers to questions. Compassionately and discreetly supports clients through pet loss and end of life decisions.
