Job Summary and Qualifications

This Manager functions as an extension of the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) AVP Finance & Operations to support BHS leadership. Focus areas include freestanding facility financial reporting, planning, analysis, Performance Improvement, Denials, and execution of BHS service line initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop, analyze, and disseminate both standard and ad hoc financial reports for the BHS service line, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Provide training and support to BHS teams on financial reporting and analysis tools, fostering a culture of financial literacy and accountability.

  • Collaborate with the Performance Improvement team to establish and monitor performance metrics, providing insights to enhance operational effectiveness and staffing allocations.

  • Supports initiatives to identify areas for operational performance reviews and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to the development of the annual operating and capital budgets for the BHS service line, aligning financial goals with organizational strategy.

  • Assist the AVP, CFO, VP of Development, and RVPs in market assessments, financial analysis, and the execution of the Comprehensive Asset Management System (CAMS) processes to support growth and development objectives.

  • Supports AVP, CFO and RVPs with DMAT functions Serve as a subject matter expert for BHS Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and division leadership teams on financial reporting, business plan development, and budget management for freestanding facilities.

  • Perform special projects as assigned, which may include detailed operational performance reviews of targeted freestanding facilities and other strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings, ensuring alignment and collaboration on key initiatives.

  • Practices and adhered to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement. PPerforms other duties as assigned.

  • This job may require up to 50% travel.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare finance and operations preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in supporting multi-site and operationally matrixed environments preferred
