Interview and Placement Process:
Candidates must complete a phone or virtual interview with the local office prior to submission.
Identogo fingerprints must be completed in Tennessee prior to submission.
Full placement must be confirmed before submission.
Client selection is based on experience and resume quality.
Requirements:
No new graduates.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in corrections or mental health.
No RTO (Request Time Off) requests for the first assignment.
No blocked or special schedules.
Orientation:
Orientation date is 1/8/25
Attendance at all orientation sessions (Wednesday to Friday, 8 AM - 2:30 PM) is mandatory. No scheduling accommodations will be made.
The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
