Job Title: ESS Account Specialist (Nashville)
Job Description
The Enterprise Special Services (ESS) team is growing rapidly and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with our company's Inbound Transportation. As we continue to drive innovation within transportation and logistics, we consistently evaluate our current network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, you will work directly with shippers to create solutions and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.
Responsibilities
Monitor, verify, and present data daily
Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time
Identify transportation defect root causes
Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers
Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers
Lead Daily Business Review Stand-up calls
Essential Skills
Experience in the transportation and supply chain industry
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think outside the box
Experience in freight, vendor management, account management, fleet management, and transportation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields
Understanding of basic data analytical skills
Experience writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals
Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data
Interpersonal and customer service skills
Good relationship-building skills and organizational abilities
Effective communication skills
Work Environment
The work environment is highly collaborative and friendly, with the ESS team split between three regions: Phoenix, Nashville, and Atlanta. The position offers a hybrid schedule with two days in-office (Monday & Tuesday) and three days remote until January 2025, after which it will be 100% in-office. The office is located in a 20+ floor high-rise with amenities such as an in-house café, snack bar, rooftop, and free coffee. The team culture is laid back yet fast-paced, with an emphasis on problem-solving and idea-sharing. Microsoft Excel knowledge is required, and the candidate will be trained on internal transportation management and ground control systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
