TEKsystems Lead Installation Technician in Nashville, Tennessee
Description
Our Client is actively working on classified projects for the prison systems in TN, installing low voltage and hardware. They are looking for a lead installation technician to lead on-site installations, from conduit and cabling to complex security systems, ensuring each project meets quality standards and is completed efficiently. Candidate must be able to install, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling, security cameras, and associated infrastructure, including structured telecom cabling, fire alarm systems, and other low-voltage projects. Must have ability to read blueprints, build out cable pathways to avoid obstructions and electrical, run cat6/fiber/coax/etc., know NEX codes for low voltage, build server racks, mount access points/ cameras/access panels/fire alarm hardware and testing of all systems. In the beginning , travel is 100% to either Morgan or Bledsoe county prisons. Technicians will need to provide all hand tools, cordless drills, punch tools. The client will provide all consumables, specific training needed, and any access requirements. This lead will be only leading one person. They operate in two man teams. All leads will get a vehicle that they will take home and will drive directly to site.
This work will be done on prison sites, so state backgrounds will be given to our teams as well as our background check.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
