Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

HealthTrust Technical Innovation, located at 1100 Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Blvd. in Nashville, TN. seeks an experienced Implementation Consultant II. The Implementation Consultant II is responsible for working with both internal and external business owners, subject matter experts and technical teams to lead and define project scope, objectives and delivery requirements. Must have a proven successful record of accomplishment leading multiple data integration and implementation initiatives from design through delivery. Must have the demonstrated ability to recommend, own and drive creative innovation solutions across a complex matrixed organization that provide business value.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong analytical ability to understand, recommend and communicate complex system integration flows based on best practices and past implementation’s experience.

  • Proven ability to own and help lead various implementation efforts across both internal and external diverse technical teams for delivery of new and customized integration solutions.

  • Proven mentorship experience scoping and leading integration deliverables using best practices for performing requirement elicitation, gap analysis, use case scenarios, acceptance testing, process maps, and data flow diagrams.

  • Demonstrated understanding of diverse healthcare ERP systems interconnectivity and familiarity with industry data integration best practices and protocols.

  • Advanced interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with business owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), technical personnel, clinical staff, consultants, vendors, and senior leadership.

  • Proactively creates, enforces and approves internal team integration processes and documentation with minimum supervision.

  • A proven team player who proactively volunteers and mentors whenever possible to support the team as a whole across both technical and non-technical required tasks.

  • Must have the ability to deal constructively and effectively with conflict situations.

  • Must have a demonstrated record of accomplishment of previously implementing complex internal and external managed integration initiatives.

  • Must be self-motivated and forward thinking with the proven ability to work with minimum supervision for providing system integration subject matter expert guidance internal and external to the team.

  • Must be able to frequently multitask and adjust priorities in a fast-paced changing work environment with little frustration when dealing with ambiguous situations.

  • Must be able to proactively build and maintain key working relationships with others and communicate at all levels both internal and external to the enterprise.

  • 5+ years

EDUCATION

  • College Graduate Preferred

OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have at least five years proven work experience of owning, leading and implementing technical integration work streams across a highly complex and matrixed organization using industry SDLC best practices.

  • Prefer at least 2 years’ of technical integration mapping or software development experience.

  • Prefer at least 3 years’ experience in healthcare product support and requirements definition.

  • Ability to perform as the primary liaison and communicate effectively both written and verbally between technical and non-technical project team members across all audience levels.

  • Integration experience with HIMS (Healthcare Information & Management Systems) a big plus.

  • Internal integration experience between existing HealthTrust GPO applications also a big plus.

  • Prefer at least 2 years of EDI or HL7 integration experience with large EMR/EHR systems such as Meditech, Epic, McKesson, Lawson, SMART or e-Clinical Works (ECW).

  • Previous working knowledge of API integration techniques and best practices a big plus.
