PeopleReady Flooring Installer in Nashville, Tennessee
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Commercial Flooring Installers to join our team for a variety of commercial construction projects. This position involves the installation of various types of flooring materials in commercial spaces such as offices, retail stores, and industrial buildings. Apply now!
Note: Pay is based on experience and ranges $25 - $30 / HOUR
Responsibilities:
Install a variety of commercial flooring materials including carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood, and laminate.
Prepare subflooring by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces before installation.
Measure and cut flooring materials to fit rooms and spaces precisely.
Apply adhesives and other bonding agents to install flooring securely.
Use hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment to complete installations.
Follow specifications and blueprints to ensure precise installation of flooring systems.
Ensure quality and durability of flooring installations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a commercial flooring installer, with knowledge of various flooring types and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements and cuts.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy materials, and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, etc.).
Must have personal tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Reliable transportation to job sites.
