Amazon Early Lifecycle Project Manager , Global Central RME Team , Early Life-Cycle Management and Building Experience Management in Nashville, Tennessee

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we're seeking a Senior ELM Project Manager to work within the Global Central RME team.

This role requires deep expertise in project management, strong technical acumen, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Successful candidates will have Engineering Program and Project Management experience combined with a strong technical problem-solving ability. Will prepare and deliver the RME launch plan for new sites subsequently supporting the RME field team in the execution of launch activities. Constantly aiming for safety, better equipment uptime, efficiency, cost management, quality, customer satisfaction, and ultimately profitability within Amazon. The candidate will work closely with site delivery team, the central reliability team and operational sites to deliver robust equipment to our network.

This role involves a travel requirement of up to 75%

Key job responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for new launches, including requirements gathering, planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and successful deployment.

  • End-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects (planning, design, installation, commissioning and qualification, launch support).

  • Assess and communicate project status, drive escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones, and ensure effective communication and coordination across all stakeholders.

  • Developing Business Continuity and Risk Mitigation plans with site RME teams to allow a seamless handover to Construction or Operations Engineering.

  • Resource planning

  • Supporting the expansion and execution of the RME qualification process, including vendor management and feedback

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

    • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
    • Experience leading multiple large teams across multiple regions.
    • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
    • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
    • Experience in program or project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lean methodologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
