As the Director of Clinical Resource Management , you will provide strategic leadership in designing and executing the Clinical Value Analysis process. As a subject matter expert for the clinical value analysis process, you will identify process improvements, and cost savings opportunities. You will also develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with multiple stakeholders including the Clinical Resource Analysis and Group Purchasing Organization teams to support national product initiatives, savings opportunities, and contract compliance while using methods to drive accountability. This role is responsible for translating strategy into deliverable solutions that are achievable for the Clinical Resource Management Team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

This role supports the Clinical Resource Management Program by utilizing HealthTrust’s value analysis methodology. This includes assessing financial, clinical, and operational information for selection, evaluation, monitoring, and implementation within each service line, with a focus on procedural areas and medical devices.

What you will do in this role:

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures related to supply chain and supply expense management, clinical value analysis education, clinical resource management program best practices and processes, product Initiatives.

  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to better understand needs and challenges.

  • Demonstrates responsibility for solving customer challenges, ensures commitments to customers are met by soliciting opinions and ideas from customers for improvements in products and services.

  • Leads and educates the Clinical Resource Management Team on methods to track and analyze financial data

  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze financial and clinical performance data to identify variation opportunities and make recommendations to the team and organization in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.

  • Drive clinical supply expense improvement through the development and deployment of standard toolkits, processes, and assessments. This includes a continual process to review and update of these toolkits, processes, and assessments.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of project management methodologies which include common processes, setting milestones, practices and tools associated with project management. Performs data mining to quantify financial impact of supply and operational savings enhancing strategies to the customer

  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze financial and clinical performance data to identify variation opportunities and make recommendations to the team and organization in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.

  • Demonstrates knowledge and expertise within the Value Analysis in healthcare.

  • Applies strong data analysis skills to translate into an actionable plan, with strategic objectives.

What Qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration or a graduate of a Professional Healthcare Institution Required

  • 5 years of experience in supply chain, value analysis, clinical supply expense management, or group purchasing organization

  • Experience in an acute care hospital related role with experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred

  • Software skills with data warehouse, Microsoft Office especially Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau highly preferred
