Job Summary and Qualifications
The Consulting Product Analyst position requires a candidate who can analyze business problem/needs to determine solution, document respective business requirements, perform testing as needed, prepare and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and prepare implementation documentation with little to no supervision. Candidate will also be able to provide mentorship to other analysts and team members. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and must be committed to delivering high quality solutions within agreed upon timelines. This position supports the Credentialing Product Development Team.
This position will
Leverage analysis to recommend system and business process modifications to support business strategies through the purchased or in-house developed software.
Write detailed description of business goals, user needs, computer program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications.
Requires detail knowledge of requirements elicitation and documentation practices, as well as software development methodologies.
Communicates requirements to software developers and assures that the designed solution will meet business and user needs.
Works with business users to resolve conflicting requirements.
This position will, work with project managers or on their own to develop timelines and manage project risks, assist in the development of quality assurance test plans, and help develop end user documentation.
Will serve as 2nd tier escalation point for issues related to system functionality.

Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the Product Backlog
Lead and manage multiple project tasks at a time.
Ability to change projects easily due to business priority
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates a joint vision for IT solutions by maintaining strong relationships with business unit and Solution Leader and assists in preparing and presenting the value proposition or business case.
Build strong relationships within the department and company, including business owners.
Drive discovery and design sessions on new and/or collaborative projects.
Work with vendors or existing development teams when appropriate.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts and developers to identify problems and creatively solve for business need.
Creates deliverables independently or with BA team and manages approvals. Provides coaching, technical, functional guidance on specific project deliverables
Provides expertise in process design and provides leadership in communicating requirements to product development, testing, and education/training.
Coordinate user acceptance testing of applications with the process teams
Builds strong and diverse network of relationships with various stakeholder groups. Identifies impact to other solutions or projects, and works with other BAs and stakeholders to identify options and recommendations.
Consistently deliver according to commitments and project plan dates.
Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed
Some travel required on an as needed basis.
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION
College Graduate Undergrad - Required
Other as Noted: Equivalent Work Experience could be considered
EXPERIENCE
7 or more years
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Thorough understanding of critical processes –
SDLC
Project lifecycle
Agile
Experience in Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team
Ability to succinctly communicate verbally in a variety of media
Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
Detailed understanding of process improvement methods and techniques
Experience working with Word templates, Visio flow charts, and other Office tools in order to create and communicate system requirements.
Familiarity with SQL database
Preferred but not required
Experience with ITG case tools, product development or system testing
Experience working in environments were product development has been outsourced to a third party
Experience in the healthcare/hospital industry
Experience in a Vendor Software Management
Supplemental education in business process improvement.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Prolonged sitting at CRT and extensive telephone usage.
Some travel required (up to 10%)
