Amazon Change Management, Operations Risk & Compliance in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

The Operations Risk Compliance organization proactively identifies and manages risk through scalable and data-backed compliance solutions for Amazon and its customers, employees, and partners. This role will be the single threaded leader for setting a global change management strategy designed to reduce negative impact caused by changes to the compliance program and its monitoring activities. The role will interact closely with compliance teams such as transportation, food safety, and global trade and will be responsible for defining processes, collecting data, and providing reports to organizational leadership on a regular basis.

Key job responsibilities

This role will establish a global change management framework for Amazon's compliance teams and will implement and maintain the mechanisms used to initiate, track, and approve changes to our monitoring activities.

About the team

The Operations Risk Compliance, Global Operations Excellence (GOE) team is a shared services team serving Operations Risk Compliance which encompasses several compliance functions The GOE team is responsible for Change Management, Training and Communications, Resource Management, Quality Strategy, and Governance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
