BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) ANALYST

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing large sets of data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive strategic business decisions. This is a perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This role will report to the Head of Product and support multiple business units.

What are we looking for?

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, computer science, physics, economics, engineering, statistics, operations research, quantitative social science, etc.).

  • Must have a minimum of three years direct work experience.

  • Basic knowledge of software development principles and architecture.

Knowledge/Experience

  • Previous experience working in Data Analytics/Insights

  • Knowledge of Test & Control procedures (A/B Testing), background in computer/statistical programming languages, (SQL, R, Python)

  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Knowledge of any relational database such as My SQL.

  • Passion for immersing yourself in data to solve business problems and present compelling stories that drive change

  • Experience in mining, automating, and analyzing large data sets, using data and statistical analysis tools to query datasets and drive end-to-end analysis that helps accelerate the business.

  • Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations, build bridges using objective data analyses, and present insights to stakeholding teams (both technical and non-technical audiences)

  • Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution, and implement it using advanced quantitative methods.

  • Solid oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods.

  • Strong math skills (statistics, algebra)

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Design, create, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using reporting tools and software for company-wide consumption. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and user-friendly.

  • Partner with multiple business units to manage and fulfill data & reporting requests, conduct analyses, and recommend solutions.

  • Be the owner of tools and processes for managing data quality, maintenance, and governance, ensuring seamless upkeep and viability of data warehouse.

  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, and combine models through ensemble modeling

  • Collaborate with engineering and digital product development teams
