Philips Bench Technician 2 (Nashville, TN) in Nashville, Tennessee

The AllParts Medical organization provides solutions to customers to ensure patient serviceability. As part of Philips Global Services & Solutions, AllParts Medical is a global leader in medical components, parts, assemblies, and full units.

Your Role:

  • Providing technical resolutions in medical parts repair and testing. In addition to supporting APM Operations, communicating solutions or actions, taking ownership, and acting in accordance with our regulatory guidelines.

  • Accurately documenting Quality Assurance Work Order records inclusive of diagnostics, resolution & Test procedures, & status using the digital ERP system. Capturing solutions to allow for knowledge share.

  • Accurately recording test & repair time, Parts consumed/ returned/ Failures, real-time via digital ERP system.

  • Acting on escalations, Complaints (safety / non safety related), or feedback, following agreed processes to ensure that information is captured accurately as possible, to allow for timely follow up.

  • Customer-first attitude

  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills

  • Excellent computer, PC, and internet skills

  • Working collaboratively, sharing knowledge and experience.

  • Working on assignments that are technical in nature, requiring some judgment. Has a role in decision-making to provide the customer the right solution.

  • Recognizing new technologies and adapt to daily working

  • Understanding the areas of empowerment and when to escalate through appropriate channels.

  • Taking ownership and be accountable for own actions

  • Determining most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize test & repair time.

You're the right fit if:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree with focus in electronics or engineering, preferred.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience in Healthcare and ERP system like Salesforce.com is preferred.

  • Detail oriented with interest in data, database management and analytics.

  • Logical problem solver able to work independently.

  • Solid technical knowledge and experience in Engineering fundamentals.
