Robert Half Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager in Nashville, Tennessee

Description We are in search of an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to become a part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including the accurate and prompt activity of billing and payment. This role also involves overseeing the accounting function and requires a hands-on approach when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily functions and personnel of the Accounts Receivable team

• Take responsibility for a wide range of managerial duties, from interviewing and hiring to coaching and developing employees, assigning work, and handling complaints and resolving issues promptly

• Monitor invoice activity and make necessary adjustments

• Enforce and implement company credit and collection policies

• Lead the cleanup process and assist with the implementation of ERP systems

• Reconcile monthly statements and related transactions

• Correctly apply and manage receipts and payments

• Review and update the accounts receivable process as necessary

• Collaborate with other teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies, and analyze data for trends and discrepancies

• Generate required financial and management reports Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Knowledge and experience in handling Accounting Functions is essential

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must

• Must be adept at performing Billing Functions

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required

• Experience in Supervisory management is necessary
